Awards:	Sheri's fiction has won and placed in national and regional contests. Her article, PARADISE FOUND, took a Peninsula Press Award in 1999. Sheri's philosophy on contests: "I rarely enter them, feeling that for the most part they are vanity competitions. Why should I pay an entry fee to have someone judge my work--already judged by editors who thought it worthy of payment for use in their publications? I don't necessarily need the accolades."
