About Sheri McGregor
McGregor's journalistic endeavors have followed the eclectic path of her varied interests.

She writes often for Reader's Digest's Walking Magazine, focusing on her mind/body health interests with articles such as a recent one on using visualization for dieting called, Visualization? Go Figure and one on herbal diet aids, Message on a Bottle.

McGregor loves doing profiles of interesting people and is excited that Walking Magazine recently commissioned her to do one on fitness guru Kathy Smith for the February 2001 issue.

Other recent profiles include radio talk show couple Ruth and Ed Shaw (Can We Talk?). Ed is one of the original Hollywood publicity agents, and Ruth founded Hugs Not Drugs.

McGregor has written regularly for San Jose Magazine. One article, "Paradise Found," took a prize in San Francisco's prestigious Peninsula Press Awards in April of 2000.

Sheri hopes to do more profiles in the future. Asking questions is something she is good at (yes, she's nosey).

Hundreds of McGregor's essays, articles and short stories have appeared in many publications, including Oracle Publishing's Profit Magazine, Here 2 Listen, Sunset and others. Find a more complete listing of her publishing history and more about Sheri McGregor on the Professional Facts page.

With five children under her roof, Sheri has plenty of experience to back her parenting expertise. Until very recently, she wrote a Parenting Resources Column for Real Woman Magazine.

A Muscogee Creek Indian, Sheri displays the quiet strength of her ancestry in her everyday life. It was no surprise she gave birth to her last two children in her bedroom (one of them on the floor!).

Sheri's first romance, DREAM CATCHER, was a September, 1999 release from Kensington Publishing Corporation (Zebra Books) under their Precious Gems line.

Her second book, UNDER ONE ROOF,  was released in October, 2000, and features settings and themes near and dear to her heart. Sheri regularly writes for The RWR, the trade publication of Romance Writers of America.

Sheri's children's book, BENDY FINDS A FRIEND, will be out this holiday season. Her romantic novella, FREUDIAN SLIP, goes into production this summer in audio book form.

Currently, Sheri is busy scheming up and marketing new romances and is working on a dark literary novel that explores her Creek Indian heritage.
